Shipping

Do not ask me to pay your shipping costs!

This usually comes in the form of "How much for X shipped?". The answer is the price I have listed plus whatever it costs to ship the gecko to you. There is absolutely no reason you should expect me to go out of my own pocket to pay for your shipping expenses yet it seems to be happening more and more often and I have people walk away because of it.

Shipping is expensive and it's only gotten higher. It's part of the hobby. We all have to suffer through it… Don't ask me to pay for your shipping, I won't do it and if you ask all discussions will stop.

Photo requests

I will no longer facilitate requests for additional photos of available geckos without a deposit on the gecko. This is mainly due to the fact that I don't have the time, geckos are a hobby for me, not a business. Unfortunately, I've also had my photos stolen for scam advertisements on social media and, quite frankly, a majority of people who request additional photos don't buy anything. If you know you are the type of hobbyist that needs to see many photos of a gecko to feel comfortable making a purchase, I'm probably not the right vendor for you. With that said, I do my best to represent all of my geckos accurately (considering I am not a professional photographer) and if you have any issues with the gecko you receive I will work with you to do whatever I can to resolve the situation.

What do I feed my geckos?

All geckos are fed as much variety as possible. This includes, but is not limited to, crickets, dubia roaches, red runner roaches, firebrats, fruit flies, wax worms, black solider fly larvae, and buffalo worms. Feeder insects are gutloaded with Repashy Bug Burger, fresh fruits, fish flakes, layer pellets, and vegetables. Insects are regularly dusted with the appropriate calcium, vitamin, and D3 supplements. Rhacodactylus, Phelsuma, and Eurydactylodes are also offered both Pangea and Repashy Meal Replacement Powders. For Phelsuma, I am also a fan of the CROCdoc Gecko Nectar.

Terms of Purchase

I want you to be satisfied with the gecko that you purchase. I represent all geckos exactly as they are. While admittedly I am not a professional photographer I have done my best to accurately represent all geckos in the photographs presented on this website. Stock photos have not been used to represent any available geckos.

Care

When purchasing a gecko, I expect that you have done your due diligence in educating yourself on the care and maintenance of the gecko. I am happy to provide any assistance I can through detailed care and maintenance information that has worked for me.

Sex

I do my best to accurately sex and label all geckos available for sale. However, mistakes do happen. In the event that you receive a gecko that has been inaccurately sexed please notify me and I will work with you to find an agreeable solution.

Scheduling Shipping

Due to a busy schedule and proximity to my FedEx hub I may ask you to wait until a time when I can ship out multiple packages at once, however, I do my best to accommodate your receiving schedule. I will not cover the expense of shipping under any circumstances. Shipping will be determined on a case by case basis based on the package weight and destination. I will only ship if the weather between our destinations is acceptable (generally 40-90 degrees Fahrenheit) for the safety of the gecko and I will use heat and/or cold packs when applicable. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you prefer to print and provide your own shipping label that works for me as well. We can discuss the details of the box and weight in advance of purchase.

Shipments will only be guaranteed when they are held at your local hub for pickup!

Live Arrival

I guarantee that all geckos sold are in healthy condition and eating well at the time they are offered for sale. I guarantee live arrival of all geckos with the exception of carrier error, carrier mishandling, and/or event of force majeure. I only offer shipping Monday – Wednesday, no exceptions. I will not be responsible for any issues that may befall your geckos due to you not being available to pick up or receive your package upon delivery. In the unlikely event that you receive geckos DOA you need to report them to me within four (4) hours of shipment receipt with photographic evidence.

Discounts

Typically, I am only willing to consider discounted prices on purchases of multiple geckos. Geckos are priced according to their current market value and for that reason I do not offer discounts on individual geckos.

Payment

Payment by PayPal or Venmo will be accepted. Payment must be provided in full prior to shipping out the gecko(s), no exceptions. I will consider a money order but will not ship until it has been received and clears.

Holding geckos

As a general practice I try to avoid holding geckos and sell on a first come, first served basis. However, I understand that everyone has different financial situations that may require additional time to reconcile. I will hold a gecko for up to two weeks with a minimum 25% down payment on the gecko you prefer, and that deposit is non-refundable. If you choose to back out of the sale your money will not be returned. If I am holding a gecko I am responsible for the cost involved in caring for that gecko and I am missing out on potential sales to other customers and for that reason all down payments on held geckos are non-refundable. It also helps weed out buyers who are not serious.

International Shipping

Unfortunately, I am only able to ship within the continental United States at this time.
